The
5th Xtreme Cage Combat saw 13 exciting amateur mixed
martial arts bouts from the XCC cage with the main event
being the culmination of the 185lb XCC tournament started
back in 2007. The United Fight Team's Len "The
Liger" Bentley handled a very tough fighter in
Spokane's Levi Alford with slams and punches from mount,
finishing the fight in the 2nd round. This was Len's last
fight before turning pro and he goes out in style wearing
the XCC Middleweight Belt!
There
was tons of other great action all captured by the XCC TV
cameras which featured commentary by IFL Fighter
"Bad" Brad Blackburn and veteran XCC fighter
"Sweet" Steve Storwick. Promoter Trevor
Michaelis, looking sauve in his Tux, emceed from the cage
and did a fine job, along with all the XCC crew,
in putting
together an entertaining show.
 
The
XCC will hold their next regular regional "Road to
Victory" fight night
at
Kessler's Bar and Grill in Longview, Washington on Saturday,
February 2nd.
