The finals of the Valhalla Gala will be held this Fri, August 13th in the Bossanova Ballroom, and will pit Team Quest against Alive MMA with the winning team taking home the coveted Valhalla Gala Battle Axe. The Valhalla Gala is a Submission Grand Prix designed to determine which gym in the greater Portland area has the most dominant team of grapplers. 100% of the proceeds from this event will be going to benefit the Judo Jon Fund, a foundation to help Athletes and Coaches with life threatening illnesses. This includes "Judo" Jon himself who is currently fighting Brain Cancer. The Vahalla Gala is this Friday, August 13th at The Bossanova Ballroom, located at 722 East Burnside in Portland. This 21 and over event starts at 8 PM, with the doors open at 7 PM. All proceeds from the show will go to the Judo Jon Fund.
