Brokenshire and Gray; Lopez vs. Mangat to co-headline Super Fight League 40 this Saturday night

Press Release from Halquist Productions

Tacoma, Washington (April 22, 2015) Brian Halquist Productions and CageSport MMA are proud to present Super Fight League 40, this Saturday, April 25th 2015, live from the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Washington. This incredible night of fights marks Super Fight League’s 4th show in the United States, with each event building on the momentum of the last. Headlining this can’t-miss evening is fan favorite and Tacoma’s own Drew “The Eternal Fire” Brokenshire (10-3) vs. talented wrestler, Jason Gray (4-1).

Drew Brokenshire, The perennial main-eventer, has built an incredible fan base with his knack for putting on show-stopping performances every time he steps in the cage. This Saturday should be no different, as he takes on relative newcomer and Enumclaw native, Jason Gray. Both fighters will be looking to bounce back from losses and regain their winning formula in this 3-round main event war.

Also featured on the card will be Yakima’s own Hector Lopez (4-0) taking on the most dangerous challenger of his young career in British Columbia’s Gurdarshan “Saint Lion” Mangat (6-1) in a 3-round co-main event. With all four of his professional bouts taking place inside the I-5 showroom in Tacoma, Lopez should feel right at home as he looks to keep his perfect record intact against the more experienced Mangat.

Calling the action will be Jeff Hougland and Garett Fertig. Hougland, the former UFC fighter, will be making his fourth appearance commentating SFL USA. The event will be broadcast live internationally and can be seen at Youtube.com/sfl.

This stacked lineup will be rounded out by seven undercard bouts featuring the best up and coming talent in the Northwest. Those bouts are as follows:

Corey Watson (1-0) vs. Artiom Cula (2-0)
Trent Tyler (4-5) vs. John Heath (7-6)
Clara Irvine (debut) vs. Susy Watson (1-2)
Tony Reyes (5-7) vs. Victor Barajas (1-2)
Justin Mark (0-2) vs. Shane Sargent (0-2)
Jake Jokela (debut) vs. Michael Ross (1-1)
