Punch Drunk Promotions & Snoqualmie Casino presented Rumble on the Ridge XIV  on October 30th with 4 pro and 5 amateur fights, including 2 title bouts.  This was another great night of fights from promoter Joe DeRobbio and company, and with a enthusiastic crowd, many in costume, the excitement level was high. Special guests included Cast Member of the current season of The Ultimate Fighter, Cody McKenzie, and Season 10 TUF alum Demico Rogers.

In the main event, undefeated Strikeforce Fighter, Lyle "Fancy Pants" Beerbohm (14-0), took on a game Josh "Killa" Calvo (3-1) in a fight at 170 lbs. Beerbohm, cornered by teammate McKenzie and wearing his patented "Fancy Pants", came out and fired off a couple kicks before shooting in and eventually getting the double leg takedown. Working from top, Beerbohm patiently waited for openings for pinpoint elbow strikes. Calvo defended well, going for a couple of armbar submissions in the process that Beerbohm was able to shrug off. Late in round Beerbohm opened up with accurate punches that nearly got the fight stopped but Calvo survived. In the 2nd, Beerbohm again looked to shoot but pulled up short and Calvo instead shot for a single leg takedown. This was a mistake as Beerbohm instantly took a page from McKenzie's playbook by locking on a modified guillotine, better known as "The "McKenzitine", and put Calvo to sleep at 20 seconds in.

In the heavyweight division, Bellator fighter Mike "300" Hayes utilized an effective left jab and some seriously heavy leg kicks to wear down Yakima MMA fighter Matt Walker, finally ending the fight via Rear Naked Choke just before the end of Rd 2.

In another pro heavyweight fight, AKA's Matt Kovacs won his rematch with Team Quest's Josh Bennett in a fight that took place all on the feet. Both fighters were able to land punches throughout, with Kovacs getting a pair of teeth knocked out in the first round. Midway through the 2nd, Kovacs caught Bennett in a flurry and then poured it on, forcing the ref to jump in and end it.

 Rumble on the Ridge XV "Vindication" is set for December 4th and looks to feature Lyle Beerbohm once again, this time fighting for the COGA Lightweight Title.
