Ring Rage III - July 8th, 2006 7 Cedars Casino - Sequim, Washington Photos by Mike Rhine Results Courtesy of USA Mixed Martial Arts The X-Fighting Championships brings a third dose of Ring Rage to a packed house at the 7 Cedars Casino on the Olympic Penninsula. Put on by K.O. Promotions and sanctioned by USA Mixed Martial Arts, this fight night saw plenty of action with 8 full-on MMA bouts from fighters representing some of the best fight schools of the Northwest. The Coors Light Ring Girls also provided some action of their own, while Ring Announcer Chris Cope, as always, provided plenty of humor as well as a professionally run event with his company, Last Call Entertainment, working the production. Bout 1 Matt Kovac defeated Darren Hillstead by TKO (punches) at 1:44 Rd1
Bout 2 Travis Bell defeated Aaron Prater by tapout (armbar) at 1:53 Rd1
Bout 3 Dean Henderson (Solier Kickboxing - Bremerton, WA) defeated James Thompson by tapout (keylock) at 2:03 Rd1
Bout 4 Nate Burgess (Salvation Army - Olympia, WA) defeated J.C. Doane (Independent - Port Angeles, WA) by TKO (punches) at 1:51 Rd1
Bout 5 Richard Gozenya (Yakima Freestyle JJ - Yakima, WA) defeated Jacob Blair (Northwest Kenpo Karate - Spokane, WA) by tapout (keylock) 1:48 Rd1
Bout 6 Jeramy Burnett (Solier Kickboxing) defeated Matt May (5-Deuce Posse - Boise, ID). After 3 Rds, fight was a draw (29-28, 29-29, 28-29). Burnett won the deciding 4th Rd (10-9, 10-10, 10-9) by Majority Decision
Bout 7 Steve Storwick (Robertson Kickboxing - Spanaway , WA) defeated Chris Dickerson (Victory Athletics) by tapout (guillotine) at 0:23 Rd3
Main Event - Kickboxing Cedric Marks (Team Marvel) defeated Carmen Cassella (NW Kenpo Karate) by majority decision (30-28, 29-28, 29-29) after 3 rounds
