For this event you'll notice a few things different.
1) There will be a 6th fullsize mat.
At the beginning of the day it will be use for the kid and teen divisions. When the kids and teens are finished then we will be using it for adults.
2)Warm up area.
There will be some mats set up for a small warmup area.
3)Order by Bracket Size
We will still be going by belt/skill level but we will be load balancing the mats by division size.
4)Elite Division.
We have opened up our Elite division. It was originally going to be used for Superfights but with people asking about allowing more submissions for the advanced division we decided to open it up to general registration. We do give you the option of competing in the advanced division if no one signs up for your weight in the elite division.
5)Head-to-Head
We have a dual meet beteween our previous no gi team trophy winners. BJJ of Olympia and Ivan SAlaverry MMA will put their best 155, 170, & 185 pound grapplers head to head. It should make for exciting high level grappling.
