Liberty Events & Promotions, LLC
presented THE REVOLUTION 05.21.11 inside the Sumner High School
Gymnasium on Saturday May 21st with over 400 competitors taking
part in a super efficient & highly competitive day of
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu
& Submission Wrestling.
A
large number of teams from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, & BC
came to compete and it was the squad from Marcelo Alonso BJJ
that were the Adult/Masters Overall Champions. They also took
home the Adult/Masters Gi Champions trophy. Alderwood MMA
was this tourney's Adult/Masters Submission Grappling Champion.
Gracie Barra WA were the team winners of the Youth/Juniors
Overall, by winning both the Gi and Submission Grappling
Champions trophies.
The
Vicious FightGear award for fastest submission in the GI went to
Matthew Taylor with a 23 sec armbar, and in No-GI it went to Oscar Gonzales
for a 55 sec Armbar.
