Brent Ockerman and AJ Weber throw down in the Reign FC Main Event!
Bristol Marunde’s Reign Promotions held their final 2016 show at the Clearwater Casino on Nov 26th with a 9 bout pro/am card that featured plenty of exciting finishes for the packed house. In the main event - the only fight to go the distance - United Training Center's Brent Ockerman picked up his first pro win, garnering a split decision over Team SNRG's AJ Weber in a 200 lb catchweight bout.
In the Co-main Event - a pro lightweight contest - Team SNRG’s RJ Hoyt gets the TKO win when his opponent, CSF' James Martin, was unable to continue due to an eye injury suffered in round one. Hoyt is now 2-0 as a pro.
In a professional 145 lb matchup, Ivan Salaverry MMA’s Jose Hernandez stopped CageworX MMA’s Jacob Goudie with strikes early in the 2nd round. Hernandez is now 2-1 as pro, while Goudie drops his debut.
Challenger Donny "The Demon" Ennis of Olympia's United Training Center took home previous Champion Mitchell Cartwright's Amateur 155 lb belt by way of a 2nd Rd Rear Naked Choke of the Kitsap Combat Sports fighter.
