The "Main Event" Championship Fight:
FCFF fight fans have been tracking the journey of Cris Williams over the past six months. This Oregon native debuted into the sport of MMA in December of last year. Less then six months ago he was unknown. He is on the verge of completing a flawless, undefeated run to an FCFF Championship Title. His journey started at Rumble @ The Roseland 84 (Dec 2015) with a round one TKO due to strikes over Nickolas Arnold. This debut fight earned him the FCFF's 2016 Fighter-to-Watch award in the annual "Best Fighters/Hall of Fame" list. He competed again in January at Rumble 85 and earned another round one win over Erik Kirkpatrick via a submission. He was back in the "Slammer" at Rumble 86 in March to face Cash Barnes for the FCFF's 150-pound Superfight. He battled to the end and extended his undefeated run via judges decision and took home the Superfight belt. In April he fought at "AX Fighting Championships" and beat Grant Gorsegner via a round two submission. On Saturday, May 14th he will put his 4-0 record on the line and face Yan Kuvaldin for the FCFF's Featherweight (145-pound) Championship Title in the "Main Event" of Rumble @ The Roseland 87. Williams will face Yan Kuvaldin of Team Chaos, who has four wins on his MMA resume. In 2016 he took down Austin Jara at Knucklehead 14 in only 33 seconds of round number one in March. In January Kuvaldin beat Andrew Perri at "Prime Fighting" in Vancouver via a round two submission. All eyes will be on this bout as a new Champion emerges.

The FCFF's 135-pound Bantamweight Title pits two undefeated fighters in a battle for the belt. Tristan Lindi of Rogue Combat Academy is 4-0. Ryen Betzhold of Animals MMA is also 4-0. Someone will lose their undefeated status - to a fighter this means everything. Lindi enters the FCFF's "Slammer" for the first time on Saturday, May 14th. He last fought in January 2016 at "Rogue Fights 33" against Joey McKernan for their Championship belt and won via the judges decision victory. Previous to this Title fight he faced Samuel Crawford at "Battle In The Burg II" and won via a round two submission. Betzhold last fought at the 'Apocalypse in the Cage II' event in September of 2015 claiming victory over his opponent with a standing rear naked choke in the first round! Previous to this fight he competed at FCFF's "Rumble @ The Roseland 83" event in August of 2015. There he took on Tim Devore and won via a three round battle via judges decision. Fight fans know how intense it can be when two top-level fighters with undefeated records face-off. This fight is going to be explosive!

Alex Aguilar is back to battle for the FCFF's 170-pound Championship. In 2013 and 2014 Aguilar was making a run to stardom. He's back from a hiatus and is looking to regain the steam he was rolling with. Aguilar is 3-0 with two of his previous wins coming from crowd-pleasing round one TKO finishes at Rumble 74 and 76. His third consecutive win came over Hank Turner at Rumble 77. He is in fantastic shape and ready to go full speed ahead. His road block: Saul Gallegos-Ruiz, a tough-as-nails fighter from Impact JJ who has six wins on his record - he is also returning from a hiatus from the sport. Gallegos-Ruiz's only loss was to Ricky Simon who has gone onto much success as a Pro fighter. Four of Gallegos-Ruiz's past wins have come via submissions. A round one triangle choke over Chris Parker at 'Coastal Brawl 2', a verbal submission by Dylan Westwang at "Dirty Boxer Bar Fights II", a round-one tapout by Rich Boedigheimer at "Fisticuffs IV", and finally a rear naked choke submission over Anthony Simera at "Rumble @ The Roseland 66." The FCFF's 170-pound Title has been left vacant by Bryan Nuro going pro. "When a fighter returns to competition after a break from the sport, they have something to prove... their first return fight is full of passion and heart. They are proving they belong, to themselves and to the fans. This fight has the added emotion of both fighters feeling this heightened hunger to win," explains Heather Standing, FCFF Matchmaker.

In addition to three FCFF Championship fights you'll see a former Champ battle for the FCFF's 155-pound Superfight belt! Justin Zabroski of Rise MMA will face off against Adan Suarez of Gracie Barra. Zabroski is looking for redemption. He was the FCFF's Lightweight Champion. He took the belt at Rumble @ The Roseland 83 in the Summer of 2015 via a decision victory over Thomas Patrick. As returning Champion, he faced Joey Dursse at Rumble @ The Roseland 85 and lost his Championship Title. He's on the road to reclaim his belt and his first test will be Adan Suarez on Saturday, May 14th. Suarez has plans of his own to claim the Superfight belt and move up the FCFF's ranks. He's no stranger to FCFF competition. Three of Suarez's wins have come within the FCFF. He last fought at Rumble @ The Roseland 75 against Kody Hammond and won via judges decision. He also faced Saul Orozco and Phillip Makarenko and won both fights in round one.
