The FCFF's latest and certainly one of their greatest fight cards was held July 21st at the Roseland Theater as 19 amateur fights took place inside "The Slammer" for Rumble at the Roseland 64, with a Superfight and 3 title fights rounding out the evening of action. It was in this 170 lb Supefight that the KO of the Night took place with Brave Legion's Tommy Takemoto timing it just right as Team Quest's Jose Rodriguez shot in for a takedown, catching him with an uppercut at just nine seconds into the bout. Takemoto, the winner of NW Fightscene's KO of the Year for 2011, announced afterwards he will be turning pro and so ends his amateur career in grand style!
The main event was another 170 lb showdown between two fighters from the Brave Legion and Team Quest camps, this one for the FCFF Welterweight Championship and also ending in victory for a Brave Legion fighter. Luis Iniguez and Jake Morris came out swinging with both fighters landing in their exchanges. It was Iniguez who got it to the ground in the 2nd, and rained down punches on Morris against the fence forcing the ref stoppage at the 2:13 mark and setting off a wild celebration in the cage for Iniguez.
The 125 lb Championship was between Alex Corrales fighting out of Bend OR taking on Arsenal Combat's John Heilman. This bout was all Corrales who got the takedown and proceeded to beat up Heilman with some accurate strikes from mount, forcing the stoppage at 2:22 into round one.
The Featherweight Title was on the line as Sean Soliz of Redmond OR battled Portland's Damon Jordan for a full 3 rounds, with Soliz coming out the winner via Split Decision.
Brave Legion's Tyler Story, the younger brother of UFC Fighter Ricky Story, got his 2nd MMA win by utilizing his wrestling and some good GnP to outpoint SBGi's Eddie Zieglar for the decision victory.
