Champion Verses Champion, Comebacks, Crowd Favorites and more!

Portland, OR - On Saturday, July 21st the Full Contact Fighting Federation (FCFF) will be hosting one of the best MMA Fight Cards of 2012 at Rumble @ The Roseland 64. The FCFF is Oregon's oldest and most respected mixed martial arts (MMA) organization, featuring the best regional MMA talent. At Rumble 64 alone there will be Four Title Fights, Three girl fights and one FCFF Welterweight Superfight.

The FCFF is known nationally as "The Golden Gloves of MMA" (according to Inside MMA a nationally broadcast mma commentary show) and winning within the FCFF means more than within any other fight event in the Northwest. Get tickets now www.ticketwest.com or at the door at the Roseland Theater starting at 6pm on Fight Night. More info and a complete fight card at thefcff.com.

About the Title Fights:
The FCFF's Bantamweight Title pits two FCFF Champions against each other in what could easily be the "Fight of the Night." The current FCFF 135-pound Titleholder, Dylan Atkinson first became Champion on January 21st 2012 at Rumble at the Roseland 61. There he defeated Justin Mark (an FCFF veteran) via a round one tapout victory. Atkinson also has wins in the FCFF at Rumble 57 and Rumble 54 via tapout and TKO. On July 21st Atkinson will face FCFF 145-pound Champion Jess Moore, who has relinquished that belt and dropped ten pounds into the Bantamweight division. If Moore wins on July 21st he will be one of the few to earn two FCFF belts in two divisions in one year. Moore, a Washougal native trains at Universal Fighters and earned the 145-pound belt at Rumble 61 in January of 2012. There he beat the super-tough Sean Soliz via a round one tapout.

The Main Event of Rumble @ The Roseland 64 is the Welterweight Championship fight. Fans are stirring to see the return of Jake "Malibu" Morris to the cage. He will face Vancouver's Luis Iniguez of Brave Legion Gym. Morris first debuted after his 18th birthday and made an impressive run in the FCFF which earned him "Rookie of the Year" honors in 2009. Since his debut he has balanced college wrestling with mma with success and has taken home three FCFF Lightweight Championship belts. He first earned the Title on July 25th in 2009, where he defeated John Bartlett in round number one. He defended that Title on September 5th of the same year against Mario Rossi and ended the fight -again- in a round one victory.

After a break from MMA he returned at Rumble @ the Roseland 55 on March 5th 2011 and defeated Clint Patterson via a unanimous decision victory for his third FCFF Lightweight belt. On July 21st Morris will enter the welterweight division to battle Luis Iniguez for his first chance at a FCFF 170-pound Title. Morris's competition, Luis Iniguez is losing weight to enter the Welterweight division. Iniguez's last fight was in the FCFF's 185-pound division on September 24th 2011 at Rumble at the Roseland 59. There he defeated Bennie Dixon via an impressive knockout victory in only 35 second of round number two.

For the 125-pound FCFF Flyweight Championship Alex Corrales of Bend, Oregon will face John Heilman of Arsenal Combat. This will be Corrales' second attempt at the FCFF's Flyweight Title. On December 3rd he fought Adam King at Rumble @ The Roseland 60 and came up short, he is hungrier than ever to earn the Title. Heilman has fought extensively in a number of mma promotions in the northwest. He's fought and won at Cage Star twice, "Fight Night Entertainment," and Budo Fights. In the FCFF he battled and lost for the Flyweight Championship at Rumble @ The Roseland 55 on March 5th 2011 and is hungry to prove himself in the FCFF.

The fourth Title Fight on the card at Rumble @ The Roseland 64 is for the FCFF's Featherweight Championship. This belt is currently held by Damon Jordan who will attempt to defend it on July 21st. Jordan and Sean Soliz from Redmond, Oregon are FCFF mainstay fighters are their battle is going to be a classic display of two different fighting styles: stand up verse ground-and-pound-wrestling. Soliz just earned the 150-pound FCFF Superfight belt at the FCFF's "Cage Fights in Tillamook" event on June 9th, 2012. There he defeated Joaquin Rodriguez via a split decision victory in the Co-Main event. Soliz has also had wins at Caged on the Coast 6 and Rumble @ The Roseland 56 in 2011. This will be Soliz's second attempt at the Bantamweight Title, as he faced Jess Moore at Rumble 61 and lost.

The last FCFF Belt on the line at Rumble 64 will be the FCFF's Welterweight Superfight Title. The FCFF has a stacked 170-pound welterweight division and this matchup brings crowd favorite and undefeated fighter Tommy Takemoto back to the cage from Brave Legion in Vancouver. Takemoto will face Zach Breeding of the world renowned fight club: Team Quest. Takemoto first debuted in the FCFF in March of last year at Rumble @ The Roseland 55. There he defeated Jeston Arnold in 33 seconds of round number two, due to strikes. He then fought in September of 2011 at Rumble at the Roseland 59 where he took the unanimous decision victory over Hadi Al-Awadh. Takemoto will face Zach Breeding, who's coming off a winning streak in his last two FCFF fights. He first beat Tyrell Pless by TKO due to choke in round one and then also beat Shane Patterson via chokeout victory in round two.
