Rumble At The Roseland 50 - March 6th, 2010

The Full Contact Fighting Federation, headed by UFC Star Chael Sonnen and his partner Kevin Keeney, reached a major milestone holding their 50th Rumble at the Roseland show on Sat March 6th at the Roseland Theater in downtown Portland.

42 fighters entered "The Slammer" for 21 amateur fights, including 3 female bouts and 4 title fights. Glena Avila successfully defended her 125 lb belt with a 3rd round TKO over a tough opponent in Maygen Sato. Larry Munyon took home the Light Heavyweight Title by Unanimous Decision over Kevin Fox. 

 

At Heavyweight, Shaun Mirjavadi won the FCFF belt for the second time with a decisive TKO victory over Jason Pittman. And finally, Wesley Golden eked out a Split Decision Win over Ryan Walker in the Welterweight Championship.

 

 

The FCFF take their show on the road to the Chinook WInds Casino in Lincoln City, Oregon on May 1st (chinookwindscasino.com) and return to the Roseland Theater for the 51st Rumble at the Roseland on May 22nd. More info at thefcff.com
