Rumble At The Roseland 48 - Dec 12th, 2009

 A historic night at the Roseland Theater December 12th as the first ever FCFF Women's Championship was held. In a terrific battle, Glena Avila of Rise Above MMA won a close Split Decision over Janna Piper of Vancouver's Touch M Up gym. 

Alive MMA's Jason Sharp defended his Light Heavyweight belt with a first round Guillotine Choke over Team Quest's Josh Hitsman. Dog Pound MMA's Denny Linton took the 135 lb belt away from Team Quest's Dave Kohn. In a Heavyweight Superfight, Linton's teammate Paul Hasslen took out Damion Martindale in the 2nd round. 12 other undercard bouts took place. In the afternoon of the fights, Chael Sonnen and Yushin Okami, along with Matt Lindland held a training session of sparring and grappling.
