The long running Rumble At The Roseland series - produced by UFC Fighter Chael Sonnen's Full Contact Fighting Federation - continues to provide a platform for top amateur Mixed Martial Artists from around the Northwest to demonstrate their abilities at one very cool venue... The Roseland Theater in Downtown Portland. On November 7th, the 47th Rumble at The Roseland held 13 MMA fights from "The Slammer" and included 3 title bouts.

For the Heavyweight Championship, 6'6" Big Will Walden of Team Quest had little trouble with 6'7" Eric Hurt, taking just over a minute to take Hurt down and put some on him, causing a tap due to strikes at just over a minute into Rd 1. 

The FCFF Middleweight belt went to Team Whetstone's Josh Burnham who outworked Alive MMA's David Lloyd over 3 rds to take home a unanimous decision.

The Welterweight Championship also went the distance but resulted in a draw between Team Top Gun's Wesley Golden and Team Quest's Jake Weldon.

Fight of the night was the war between two 135 pounders, Daniel Hickey of Team Quest West and Jesse Filan of Dynamic MMA. No letup over three rounds as these two threw down and in the end it was Hickey edging Filan via Split Decision.

Rumble on the Roseland 48 is December 12th and has five title fights scheduled, including the first ever FCFF female championship between Janna Piper of Touch M Up MMA and "Heartless" Glena Avila of the Dalles. Heavyweight Will Walden makes his first title defense against Dog Pound MMA's Paul Hasslen. Wesley Golden and Jake Weldon will rematch for the 170 lb belt. Portland Fire Fighter Jason Sharp out of Alive MMA takes on Team Quest's Josh Hitsman for the Light Heavyweight Championship, and the Bantamweight Title bout has Dave Kohn of Team Quest and Denny Linton of Dog Pound MMA going at it.
