Portland, OR - On Saturday, July 12, 2008 the most prestigious amateur championship is on the line as FCFF Heavyweight Champion Daniel "The Outsider" Stewart defends his championship against the always tough, always smack talking, and always entertaining Andy "Ice Cold" Eichholz.
Both of these BIG DOGS have great wrestling backgrounds, especially Stewart (former high school All-American). But, both have said they want to keep this fight on its feet. If that happens, its going to be a SLUG FEST! We hope to see a good old fashioned heavyweight slobber-knocker for the FCFF Heavyweight Championship!
Speaking of wrestling, there are some very talented wrestlers on this fight card as former Oregon State Assistant Wrestling Coach, 2 time state champion, and college national champion Stryder Davis enters the cage representing Team Chaos of Salem, Oregon.
He will fight the very improved and talented John Heath of Northwest Fighting Arts. It's wrestler versus pure mixed martial artist in a classic cage fight match-up.
New into the FCFF is Fred Farmer, a State Champion wrestler from Heritage High School in Vancouver, Washington and collegiate wrestler at the University of Oklahoma. He makes his FCFF debut against Dan Rood of the very dangerous Xtreme Couture.
