Portland, OR - On Saturday, May 10th, the FCFF returns to the Roseland for Rumble @ the Roseland 35.
Don't miss the MEGA night of mixed martial arts, as we have over 15 bouts slated for this night of cage fighting at the legendary Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon.
In our main event of the evening, for the vacant Light Heavyweight Championship, Nick Stacks, of Reality Combat will take Pro Escobedo of Impact Jiu-Jitsu Newberg. These two fought back in October with Escobedo picking up the 2nd round TKO victory. Many felt that Stacks won the first round of this fight handily, and was in control of the fight prior to getting caught on the chin by Escobedo; which led to the referee stoppage. Since their fight back in October, Stacks has won 4 fights including a title with Capital City Cage Fights. Escobedo has had only one fight since October and won that fight in very impressive fashion with the TKO victory. These two will collide one more time with stakes much higher on May 10 at the Roseland Theater.
In a semifinal bout of sorts, in the Welterweight Division, Rick Davison of Straight Blast Gym will fight Jay Shaffer of Xtreme Couture. Both fighters sport undefeated records at 3 wins and no losses; the winner of this bout will fight the FCFF Welterweight Champion, Sean Siefke on June 14 for the title. Both of these fighters are
"knocking on the door" of becoming professional fighters, and the winner of this bout takes a GIANT step towards reaching that accomplishment.
This card is loaded with over 15 fights, with some FCFF FAN FAVORITES, that have not seen in a while: Norman Reuter of TSN, Jetay Barber of Premier MA, Don Kitterman of UIMA, and Crae Bassett of Reality Combat.
