Brad Pole's Primal Fights, along with Klench Kustom Mouthguards, presented Primal Fights 6 "Revolution" at Bethel High School in Spanaway WA on Saturday June 29th. A night of great MMA fights, plus fun grappling exhibitions and tag team matches, culminated in 3 contender matches and 3 title fights.
The 185 title fight between Larry Perreira and AJ Fuentes ended quickly after both fighters exchanged on their feet until Perreira closed the distance into a clinch on the cage. When Perreira stepped back and fired off a left hook as he slipped Fuentes' jab, the hook landed solidly on Fuentes' chin and dropped him to the canvas for NW Fightscene's Knockout of the Night.
Brett Malone from Arlington Kickboxing Academy won his 155 lb belt in less than a minute when he moved inside on Luke McNeley and threw some knees before driving him down to the mat. Once on the ground, Malone secured top position and kept it as he rained down strikes until the ref stepped in and stopped the fight.
The last fight on the card was worth the wait - the 145 title was up for grabs between Paul DeVeglio and Rob Cann. The two battled it out through two rounds, Cann holding the edge on the feet, but DeVeglio controlling most of the ground. Both did well defensively and kept a hard pace. In the third, DeVeglio got Cann to the mat again and was able to isolate an arm. DeVeglio spun hard off the cage wall and went belly down, getting the tap, the belt, and NW Fightscene's Submission of the Night.

Fight of the Night went to Cole Stover (Eatonville MMA) and Charlie Barnes (Battleground MMA) in their 145 bout. Barnes had a slight reach advantage and used it on the feet, and stalled Stover out when Stover would clinch up and take Barnes down. Stover was able to hold Barnes down effectively, and landed some good shots of his own standing- pulling off the decision victory in a very tough fight.
