DATE CHANGE:
Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008
Based on feedback we were getting from key gyms and the relatively low athlete registration numbers for the September event, we have moved the tournament back a month, to Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008. We strongly believe that this decision will be better for everyone -- both gyms and competitors.
All other details about the tournament remain the same: location, schedule, rules, weight divisions, prizes, etc. -- nothing else has changed.
All competitors and coaches that have already registered are good for the October event. For competitors that have register for the September date who can't make the new October date, we will refund your entry fee in full.
For all of those grapplers who said they haven't had enough time to prepare / get ready for the tournament - you now have a month, so get to it! ! ! We expect to see the best grapplers in the Northwest there ... so show up and let your grappling to the talking. We will keep registration open until Monday, October 6, at midnight.
The first 100 competitors who register will a get free Oregon Open T-shirt.
So, get out there, train hard, get ready to go, talk it up to all the guys in your gym, and show up ready to wrestle the best in the Northwest on October 11.
