NWC Brawl at the Mall 6 - April 7th, 2012

Northwest Championships presented Brawl at the Mall 6 to a sold-out crowd at the Gladiator MMA gym inside the Vancouver Mall. 14 amateur bouts in total were held, including 3 title fights and a superfight. The Fight of the Night was an absolute barn burner between Team Chaos' Jesse Lane & Arsenal's John Heilman. These two tough competitors threw down 13 minutes before Lane finished Heilman at 1:07 of Round 5. With the win, Lane took home the NWC 125 lb Title belt. In the 205 lb title fight, Gladiator MMA's Jake Smith took out Justin Albee in the 2nd round via TKO. Smith's teammate, Rick Simone won the 145 lb belt by submitting Damon Jordan with a first round Rear Naked choke. In the 170 lb Superfight, Eric Ramsey out of Flores Fitness outpointed Esteban Salazar for the decision victory in an entertaining fight. The Submission of the Night was excuted by Flores Fitness' Colton Miller who subbed Clemente Bosch with a beautiful 1st round armbar. The next NWC event will be Saturday, April 21st in Chehalis Washington at 663 Geary Road. The event will be broadcast on local TV as well. More info on the Gladiator MMA Facebook page.
