M.E.K.A. Challenge 3 - June 2nd, 2007

The 3rd M.E.K.A. Challenge was successfully held in front of an enthusiastic crowd at the Jackson Armory near the Portland Airport. The fights opened with a wickedly fast KO by Colin Haag in just 3 seconds, and finished with Ground and Pound TKO victory for Shane Wooldridge who picked up the M.E.K.A. Super Heavyweight Title belt. In between were 7 additional bouts that featured submissions, slams, and more for a fun-filled night of amateur MMA action. Don't miss the next M.E.K.A. Challenge being held July 14th at the Forest Grove Armory and which will mark the launch date of the N.W.F.L. or Northwest Fight League, which is an amateur team-based MMA league based upon one competitor for each chosen weight class (similar to the IFL).
