UFC and IFL Warriors Named in Lineup for King of the Cage

Star of the UFC and IFL, Tim "The Barbarian" Boetsch, takes on IFL's Aaron Stark in the headline bout of the evening. They are joined by fighters making their professional debut at KOTC: Thunderstruck, including Muay Thai champions Julia "The Jewel" Budd and Caros "The Future" Fodor. Demetrius "Mighty Mouse" Johnson is considered one of the toughest 135 pound fighters in the Pacific Northwest and currently holds the Bantamweight champion title, and both he and Caros are Genesis Fights' amateur champions. Julia "The Jewel" Budd's opponent will be named at a later date. Since she beat MMA superstar Gina Carano, event promoters are having a hard time convincing anyone to get in the cage with her!

The Comcast Arena at Everett, a $71.5 million multi-purpose complex, was developed by the Everett Public Facilities District. The Comcast Community Ice Rink is used for public skating, hockey leagues, figure skating and much more. The two ice sheets can be converted to form a 57,000 square foot space to host trade shows and special events. The three-story Edward D. Hansen Conference Center includes three 900 square foot executive meeting rooms, and an 11,000 square foot ballroom, which can be arranged in a number of different configurations.
