Jordan Currie and Tony Lopez battle for the KOTC Heavyweight Belt

King of the Cage was back at the Coeur d'Alene Casino on Aug 17 for "Next in Line". Another packed house was on hand for the 6 pro and 4 amateur MMA fights that went down, which included the KOTC Pro Heavyweight Championship. The bout went all five rounds and in the end it was California's Tony "Kryptonite" Lopez retaining his title over local favorite Jordan Currie by Unanimous Decision.


































In the co-main event, veteran fighter Jason Norwood of Ft Hood TX took out Spokane's Jerome Jones with ground strikes at 2:58 in the first round of their pro 185lb matchup.














Alabama's Elliott Conn won his pro debut with a KO of CDA's Dakota Schnall in a 135 lb bout.















Denver CO's Jake Adams got his first pro victory via a 1st rd TKO of Spokane's Chris Dempsey.










Bryce Walden wins his pro debut, submitting Jesse Jacobsen with a rear naked choke ten seconds into their bantamweight contest





Elijah Ross needed just six seconds to finish Matt Main to pick up his first professional win.





King of the Cage Amateur Middleweight Champion Killian Estes moved up to 205 lbs and made quick work of previously unbeaten Paul Martinez, finishing with ground strikes at just over one minute in. Estes moves his record to 9-0 and looks ready for the pro ranks.









Spokane's Michael Northup took some punishment from Cordell Chunn before earning the win by triangle choke submission from the bottom in the 2nd rd in their amateur 185 lb contest.














Amateur featherweight Brady Hiestand stopped Jesse Simpson with strikes in the opening fight of the night.








Spokane's John Naccarato won his amateur MMA debut by way of rear naked choke of Seth Freeman in the first round
