The House Of Fury pro boxing series returned to the Coeur D'Alene Casino Thursday October 22nd and once again featured "Fabulous" Favio Medina fighting in the main event for a title belt... the third time in a year. On Oct 30th, 2008, Medina won the C.A.M. Welterweight belt in a 12 round unanimous decision over Henry Mitchell. His next fight February 26th was for IBA Light Middleweight Title but he ran into rising prospect Orlando Lora who handed Medina just his 2nd loss by way of 7th round TKO... his first loss since 2003 versus 21 wins and 2 draws. For his third title fight, Medina was battling for the vacant WBC US Welterweight Championship against 54 fight veteran, Jason Papillion.  In the first two rounds and into the third, the fight was pretty even with both fighters staying inside the other's reach until an accidental head butt by Medina cut Papillion. The ringside doctor looked at it and the fight was called off immediately with the cut reportedly taking 32 stitches to close. Being less than 4 rounds into the scheduled 12 round fight, it did not go to the scorecards and was declared a technical draw. A disappointing ending for both fighters for sure.

 In the Co-main Event, Heavyweight Skyler Anderson from Newman Lake, WA out pointed Gabe Brown in a plodding fight over 10 rounds for the decision and his 14th win versus just a single loss and one draw.

4 more exciting fights rounded out the undercard.
