Dawg" Reid 34-9 (19 KO's) of Nashville, Tennessee. Reid, another Contender series fighter proved to be a very good super middleweight opponent for the Canadian Woolnough. Mark Woolnough survived a surprising second round knockdown and returned with a disciplined body attack and effective jabs to win a unanimous 6 round decision. Scoring was 57-55 by all judges.

Juan Santiago 4-1(3 KO's) of Denver, Colorado vs. Daniel Gonzales 9-14-2 (2 KO's) Billings, Montana, faced off in a good lightweight division matchup. The underdog Gonzales, perhaps being down on the score cards found a weakness in Santiago winning by a TKO at 1:18 of the 4th round.

Skyler
"Baby Boy" Anderson now 9-1-1 (6 KO's) of Newman Lake, Washington faced Tyrone Muex of Covington, Tennessee. Muex, suffering from an ear problem had been down several times before falling to the groundshaking punches of the much taller and heavier Anderson. This was a second round heavyweight TKO for Skyler.

"the Tongan Warrior" Bloomfield, now 8-3-1 (4 KO's), faced Leo Bercier in a heavyweight bout. This fight was a dandy with both fighters going the distance and all judges scoring 59-55 for Bloomfield. The
"Tongan Warrior" proved to be in better shape and had better control of the bout. Their previous bout had been a draw.

The co-main event featured local middleweight favorite
"Fabulous" Favio Medina 18-1-2 (8 KO's) fighting David Obregon 12-4 (7KO's) of Miami, Florida. Favio found himself up against a hard punching Obregon. The fabulous Favio withstood barrages of body shots and landed a great one two (left/ right) to finish David Obregon 20 seconds into the 4th round for the KO. Favio
also knocked Obregon down late in the 3rd.

Highlighting the main event was NBC's Contender, Peter
"the Pride of Providence" Manfredo Jr. of Providence, Rhode Island against Pasco Washington's Luis
"the Lobo" Lopez in a super middleweight bout.
Peter Manfredo Jr. now 30- 5-0 and 15 KO's controlled this fight
from the start landing blow after blow to Lopez (21-17). "The
Lobo" showed great determination and toughness getting up from
knockdowns in the 3 rounds he lasted and focused on body shots to
Manfredo. Lopez didn't return for the 4th round.
