Smith's House Of Fury pro boxing series returned to the Coeur
D'Alene Casino on March 25th and had "Fabulous"
Favio Medina fighting in the main event in a rematch
against Jason Papillion for the vacant WBC US
Welterweight Championship. The fight card also had local
favorite Skyler Anderson vs Moises Droz in the co-main
event, and a 4 round featured bout with George Foreman
III, son of former World Heavyweight Champ George Foreman
who sat ringside. And in a special presentation, Spokane's
own Chauncy Welliver was given the WBC Continental
Americas Heavyweight belt by WBC officials that he won on
Mar 19th in Oklahoma.
The
main event was a rematch between "Fabulous"
Favio Medina and Jason
Papillion. The pair met at the last House of Fury in
October in a fight that was stopped in the third round due
to an accidental cut that forced a Draw. This time though,
Medina came out victorious in a Unanimous Decision after
12 rounds.
 
In
the Co-main Event, Heavyweight Skyler Anderson from Newman Lake,
WA awoke in the third round and took out Moises Droz
with a big right hand to the delight of the crowd.
 
George
"The Monk" Foreman III continues to knockout the
opponents put in front of him, this time taking out Robert
Vasquez midway through the first round for his sixth
straight KO win.

more exciting fights rounded out the undercard. The
