Harbor Beat Down 3 took place in Aberdeen at the VFW on May 29th and was produced by Dragons Cage Promotions.

The main event featured a matchup between Pat O'Connor and Damian Shehan. After almost a 5 year layoff, O'Connor, with much coaxing from his friends, coach and teammates, decided to take a fight on the undercard of this event. However, after his teammate, Tyler Thompson, was hospitalized and had to pull out, he suddenly found himself in the main event. Shehan was still charged from his big win from the previous weekend and ready to go! This was the classic young wrestler vs the old school MMA fighter. Shehan was glad to knock some of the ring rust off of O'Connor and took it to him with a big slam right out of the gate and then controlled most of the 1st round. O'Connor weathered the storm and then simply choked Shehan with a mounted guillotine at 28 seconds of the 2nd round to end the fight showing that he was the more seasoned fighter. Damian is one tough dude though & I am sure we will see more of him in the future. 

Dragons Cage Promotions next event will be Raymond Rumble "Beast within the Cage" taking place Fri, June 25th at Raymond High in Raymond, WA. Harbor Beat Down 4 "Spody Fest" will be at Olympic Stadium in Hoquiam on Aug 7th and will feature an all-day music fest, with cage fights in the evening,
