TACOMA, Wash. - Brian Halquist Productions and area police officers and fire fighters have once again teamed up to present the Guns N' Hoses charity boxing event at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma on Saturday, Sept. 17. 

Guns 'N Hoses is an amateur boxing event featuring policemen and firemen from around the Puget Sound area. 

Each bout will feature three-round boxing matches between area Police Officers and Firefighters to raise money for the Pacific Northwest Amateur Boxing Association and additional children's charities. 

"It is always an exciting event. These guys go in there year after year and put on a incredible show," said promoter Brian Halquist. "And it's all for a great cause too." 

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Pacific Northwest Amateur Boxing Association which works with local gyms by funding programs for at-risk youth in an effort to keep them off the streets.

Bout pairings will be released prior to the event with all bouts being supervised by USA Boxing, which is the national governing body of amateur boxing in the United States

First fight on the card will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25, $40 and $100 and are available at the Emerald Queen Casino box office 1-888-831-7655 and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
