Fight Night XXXI: Backlash - June 23rd, 2012

Split Decision Entertainment held the 31st in their amateur "Fight Night" series on June 23rd at Club Zoo in Vancouver WA with 2 Kickboxing and 13 MMA fights taking place. In the main event, 503 West coast Jiu-jitsu's Rico Martinez stopped Midtown MMA's Anthony McDonald to win the Split Decision Heavyweight Title. In a 135 lb Kickboxing Superfight , 503 WCJJ's Douglas Kay beat Steel Dragon Dojo's Jalam Weeks via 1st Round TKO. And in a 185 lb Superfight, Bloody Knuckles' Shalamar Washington took home the belt when Sean Gordon of Truitt's Recruits was unable to answer the bell for the 5th round. The next Split Decision show is set for July 28th at Club Zoo, followed by their big "Fight Night Astoria" show at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds on September 29th. More info at SplitDecisionMMA.com.
