Fight Night "Round VI" Valley Wars - January 15th, 2010

Fight Night Entertainment and West Coast Fight Club presented "Round VI" of their Fight Night series on Fri, Jan 15th from Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon, WA. And like their previous events, FNE and WCFC brought in some special guests for the show... This time with UFC Star, Keith Jardine, and former UFC Heavyweight Champ, Maurice Smith, on hand meeting and greeting all the fans in attendance and signing autographs for the better part of the evening.

 

Fight Night "Round VI" marked the first time the promotion has used a cage and added to that some professional lighting made the fights extremely enjoyable for the large enthusiastic crowd. 10 total fights were held, all amateur,  and it was a night of submissions (6) and decisions (4). In the main event for the FNE 170 lb title, Harrison Bevens out of West Coast Fight Club got taken down by Team Blackout's James Benson, but quickly reversed, secured Benson's arm and forced the fighter to tap in the first round.
