FightNightEntertainment (FNE) and the Swinomish Casino presented Fight Night "Round XIV" Combat at the Cabaret, on Sat April 2nd at the casino, with 5 amateur and 4 professional MMA cage fights going down. The event was streamed live around the planet on GoFightLive.tv (where the replay is still available), with the broadcast commentary handled by former UFC Heavyweight Champion Maurice Smith and Ron "The Yacman" Yacovetti.

In the main event, Ryan "Diamond" Healy took it to James Birdsley on the feet over a round plus, landing numerous punches and knees that took its toll on Birdsley and forced ref Steve Newport to stop the fight at 1:04 of Rd 2. With the win, Healy becomes FNE's first ever Superfight Champion.

 

FNE will team up with Operation Homefront for FIGHT NIGHT "Round XV" Armed Forces, happening in Everett on June 18th. More at fightnightentertainment.com.
