ESPN "FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS" - JANUARY 24, 2014

(SHELTON, Wash.) – Little Creek Casino Resort (www.little-creek.com) – located a convenient drive from Olympia and Seattle – welcomes ESPN’s “Friday Night Fights” back to the Skookum Creek Event Center on Friday, Jan. 24.

The main event of “Little Creek Brawl IV” features two highly ranked International Boxing Federation (IBF) fighters as undefeated prospect Thomas Williams Jr. takes on world-contender Cornelius White in a 10-round North American Boxing Association Light Heavyweight Championship clash.

The 26-year-old Williams (15-0-0, 10 KOs) is ranked No. 12 in the world by the IBF and comes in off a unanimous decision win over world title challenger Yusaf Mack. Known as “Da Beast,” the hard-hitting White is an impressive 21-2-0 in his career with 16 KOs, good enough for a No. 14 world ranking by the IBF.

“Little Creek Casino Resort and the Squaxin Island Tribe are excited to have world-championship-level fights back at our property,” said Little Creek Chief Executive Officer, Michael Starr. “Along with an undercard full of up-and-coming local boxing prospects, the event will provide a thrilling night of toe-to-toe action for our guests and visitors.”

Presented by Goossen Tutor Promotions, the 10-bout card also features a 10-round featherweight battle between former world champion Rico “Suavecito” Ramos (22-3-1, 12 KOs) and Jonathan “Lil Thund’r” Arrellano (14-2-2, 3 KOs).

The undercard is highlighted by four promising Washington-state prospects, including Seattle native Eddie Hunter taking on Ronald Hearns, the son of former seven-time world champ Thomas “Hitman” Hearns, in an eight-round Super Middleweight match.

Northwest Regional Junior Welterweight Champion Virgil “Black Mamba” Green from Vancouver, Wash. challenges Guillermo “El Conquistador” Delgadillo from Walla Walla, Wash., and Mixed Martial Arts professional Lupe Hudgens from Mabton, Washington makes his professional boxing debut against Oregon’s Sammy Perez. Finally, unbeaten Marcelo Gallardo from Auburn, Washington puts his undefeated record on the line against Southern California’s undefeated prospect Juan Funez.
