The inaugural Dragons Cage MMA fight night "BATTLE FOR THE BOBCATS" was held Saturday, January 10th inside Aberdeen's South Shore Mall. Put together by Scott Bean and the Twin Dragons gym in Aberdeen, proceeds from the show went to benefit the Aberdeen High School Wrestling Team. MMA Legend Dan "The Beast" Severn was also reported to be on hand for the show.

11 bouts took place with fighters representing Twin Dragons (Aberdeen), Morning Star Karate (Aberdeen), Victory Athletics (Olympia), Brian Johnson's Kickboxing Academy (Olympia), West Coast Fight Club (Renton), plus a couple of independents. The Bean Fighter of the Night went to 16 year old Tyler Bean who KO'd his opponent in just 12 seconds. More information on the event is available at www.dragonscage.com
