Banner Promotions and the Northern Quest Casino held Conquest of the Cage on January 7th with the 7 amateur & 4 pro MMA cage fights. In the main event, Mike Hanks of the Fancy Pants Fight Team and Sikjitsu won the UMMA 170 lb Title in just over a minute by way of Triangle Choke. Pro Alex Zuniga from Charlie's Combat Club scored a 1st round TKO victory over Daniel Atnip in the evening's Co-Feature. On the amateur side, Brett Malphrus, also representing the C3 camp, defeated Charlie Schultz via first round armbar to secure the Conquest of the Cage 170 lb belt.
