Cody
McKenzie, a 22 yr old 11-0 lightweight prospect fighting out of
Spokane, will take a shot at Octagon glory starting September 15th
as a cast member of The Ultimate Fighter Season 12. "The
Ultimate Fighter: Team GSP vs Team Koscheck" will feature 28 up-and-coming lightweights
who will vie for a six-figure contract with the UFC. The fighters were in the
TUF house for 6 weeks and the filming of the show wrapped up in Las Vegas about 2 months ago.
What can you tell us about the show?
Cody McKenzie:
Like all seasons, UFC/Zuffa is keeping a tight lid on the season 12 results. There is not much I can say.
Tune in September 15th after UFC Fight Night on SPIKE TV to see all the action!
What have you
been doing since the show ended taping?
McKenzie: I am a full-time coach at Spokane Boxing
& Mixed Martial Arts. I am there all day every day, if anybody wants to stop in or get some training. Come in
to our gym at 1212 N. Pines in Spokane Valley, or check out our website for all the info
spokaneschoolofboxing-mma.com.
Anyone to
thank?
McKenzie:
I would like to thank all the fans and other fighters for their
support.
NW
Fightscene thanks Cody for his time in talking with us and we'll
be sure to have more updates with him as the season progresses.
The Ulitmate Fighter Season 12 will have its first episode air on
September 15th on Spike TV, immediately following the live
broadcast of UFC Fight Night: Marquardt vs Palhares from Austin,
TX. For more about the show, check out spike.com/channel/ufc.
