James Klass and the Capital City Cage Fights crew took over the Salem Armory once again May 30th for the latest Saturday Night Fights. A large crowd was on hand for the 11 amateur Mixed Martial Arts matchups and the fighters did not disappoint providing the fans plenty of action.

Plenty of local schools and gyms were represented including Oregon Top Team, Bully Gang MMA, Desert Dogs, Team Cannon, Valor MMA, Redneck Militia, Arsenal Combat Sports, The Dog Pound, Mid Valley Martial Arts, Ernie Reyes Martial Arts, Barracks MMA, Team Whetstone, Team Quest, and Team Extreme.

One of the nights many highlights was the Capital City Cage Fights Featherweight Championship between Mid Valley's Nate Becker and Oregon Top Team's Travis Hutchinson. This was a tremendous fight that Becker was able to finish with just five second left in the 2nd round via armbar.

According to the official Oregon State Athletic Commission calendar, the next Captial City Cage Fights show will be held October 11th at the Salem Armory. More info on the promotion can be found at myspace.com/salemcagefights
