CageworX Promotions LLC 'Olympic Combat Challenge II' Results:
We had an excellent show with fighters from CageworX MMA, Hybrid MMA, Redneck Militia, Team Mean, Rude Awakening, Roughouse MMA, Team Rock Solid, Spokane School of Boxing and MMA, House of Stone MMA, Evolution Martial Arts, Kalahi Martial Arts and Independents.
We had a total of 12 bouts (4 MMA bouts/6 Kickboxing/1 San Shou/1 Youth Tag Team). A lot of action packed bouts took place! Knock out of the night would have to go to CageworX MMA's John "the Juggernaut" Jacobs as he KNOCKED OUT very game opponent Antonio Fuentes in 0:25 of the 1st Rd in the co-main event 185lb MMA bout!
We also had 2 very tough 135lb. undefeated female MMA fighters face off. Team Rock Solid's Mari Mata (2-0-0) squared off against Spokane School of Boxing and MMA's Katie Law (2-0-0). Law came at Mata hard and fast securing the takedown and finishing with an armlock from scarf hold early in the first round.
The main event of the night featured Team Mean MMA's Alden Lee facing off against Roughouse MMA's RJ Hoyt in a 5 round A-class kickboxing match that went all 5 rounds with Alden taking the judges decision with a hard fought win.
Honorable mention: CageworX MMA's Marcus Hanson KO'd Hybrid MMA's Joe Enderton with a check hook in the first round!
And the youth tag-team was actually the most exciting bout of the night with some very very game kids getting the whole crowd on their feet in support!
