Erosa and Nuro will battle for the vacant CageSport Lightweight title. The 5-round title fight will be one of nine bouts on the card.

Tickets are available through the EQC box office and all Ticketmaster outlets. Preliminary bouts start at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Erosa, from Yakima, Wash., now fighting out of Las Vegas, sports a record of 20-5 and is attempting to win the promotion's lightweight crown for a third time.

"Training has been great. I've been learning a lot and am coming off a great win a month back so I'm trying to keep the momentum going," said Erosa, who scored a win over former Bellator fighter Erick Sanchez on Nov. 4. "Everyone should expect me working my rage and striking against Nuro."

Already a two-time CageSport Featherweight champion, Erosa won the lightweight crown for the first time on Dec. 13, 2014 with a victory over Harrison Bevens. He started his second reign by knocking off Justin Harrington on Feb. 25.

Following a successful defense against Harrington, Erosa dropped the title in a loss to Bobby McIntyre on July 15.

McIntyre was unable to defend the title at CageSport 47 and declined to defend the title at CageSport 48, resulting in the lightweight championship being vacated.

Nuro defeated McIntyre for the CageSport Interim Lightweight title on Dec. 17, 2016. He has won seven of his eight career fights and brings a three-fight winning streak into the championship bout.

"Nuro is a tough, durable opponent. I expect to have a long drawn out fight, but I'm ready for both a quick or long fight," said Erosa, who was a cast member on UFC's The Ultimate Fighter 22 and fought on the undercard of UFC 196 – McGregor vs. Diaz."He's tough, but I feel he's a bit slower than me, so I will definitely beworking my hand speed, and setting up some solid combos."

"It's always great to have Erosa and Nuro on the card," said promoter, Brian Halquist. "It's tremendous that they're going to fight each other."

Highlighting theundercard will be a semi-main event between 156-pounders Chris Stone (3-1) and Dex Montenegro (6-3) and a 126-pound clash between Benjamin Vinson (8-5-1) and Eric Higaonna (8-2).

Additional undercardbouts include bouts between Armando Best and Terrance McKinney (146 pounds), Chase Hooper and Sean Soliz (155), Nick Biron and Randy Zarza (265) and Talon Hammons and Kody Hammond (146).
