Emerald Queen Casino & Brian Halquist Productions presented the 4th CageSport Saturday May 16th with 10 Professional MMA bouts taking place from the cage.

The Main Event featured the return to MMA after a 15 month hiatus of "Fast" Eddy Ellis, who co-owns the United Training Center in Olympia with MMA Star Lisa Ward, and is the veteran of well over 30 pro MMA fights. The 26 year old Ellis broke his hand in his win over Steve Berger at Strikeforce at the Tacoma Dome last year in February and needed surgery to repair the damage. Healed up, Ellis tested the hand out with a 4 round Pro Boxing bout at the casino (Battle of the Boat 70) in January where he fought to a draw.  In this return to MMA, Ellis faced a tough Stryder Davis out of Vancouver, WA. Davis, a two-time College Wrestling Champ training with Braveheart MMA in Vancouver entered the bout with an undefeated Pro MMA record of 5-0. Davis was able to get a thunderous slam of Ellis when the fight got underway but "Fast" Eddy stayed patient using his experience and skill to secure a guillotine choke at the 3:44 mark. Where the healthy and hungry Ellis winds up next is anyone's guess but any of the major players would be lucky to have him. Davis as well is sure to rebound from this loss so be on the lookout for this dynamic fighter as well.

The 9 undercard bouts also showcased plenty of Northwest Talent. Missoula's Dogpound Submission Fighter Lloyd Woodard dismantled Real World Fight Team's Marques Daniels in the first round. Spokane's own Carmen Cassella caught Real World Fight Team's Crae Bassett and finished him via strikes in the first round. Victory Athletics Sterling Ford battled Real World Fight Team's Jason Evola for 15 minutes in an excellent bout and took home a Split Decision victory. Victory Athletics John "Prince" Albert made his pro debut a successful one by securing a Triangle choke on an experienced Bobby Corpuz early in the 2nd round.

The next fight event at the Emerald Queen is June 20th with the long running Battle at the Boat pro boxing series. MMA will return to the casino later this year with the next CageSport show. Visit www.emeraldqueen.com for more info.
