Jeff "The Snowman" Monson & Mike "300" Hayes square off

Weigh-ins were held today at the Doubletree Inn near Seatac Airport for CWC IX - the biggest NW Fight card of the year - which takes place tomorrow at Kent's ShoWare Center. The 14 all-pro bout card saw only two fighters miss their target with Demarques Johnson coming in 11 pounds over and Victor Barajas 4 pounds over. Their opponents, Ian Williams and NIck Ryan, both agreed to accept the fights and will take a portion of their purse.

Headliner Jeff "The Snowman" Monson was not present at the 7 PM weigh-ins and there was talk he would not be able to make the contracted 215 lb catch weight in his fight versus Mike "300" Hayes. But he came in minutes before WA State officials were to leave at 9 PM and stepped on the scales and made the weight like the veteran he is.
