Dark Horse Entertainment presents Pummel at the Point on December 1 at The Point Casino in Washington State with an action packed MMA pro/am fight card. Dark Horse Entertainment debuts on GFL with a show that will turn heads as the quality and production value is top notch on the regional MMA scene.
In the main event, MMA vet Dustin Praxedes (4-5) fights Brad Pole (2-4) in an exciting lightweight scrap. Praxedes fights with a high risk-high reward style and in doing so has a large amount of wins and losses by submission. Praxedes is always looking for the finish and sometimes that leaves him open to attacks. Either way, fans always get an exciting fight with Praxedes. For Pole, he also fights with the same general style as only 1 fight out of his 6 have ever gone to decision. This is a fight where there will be no feeling out process and both fighters will be coming in looking to finish the fight in the opening minutes.
In the co-main event, Carl Edwards (6-3) battles Dominick Fredrickson (6-1) in a middleweight scrap. Both Edwards and Fredrickson have had stellar amateur careers and are just starting out their pro careers. Edwards has held numerous titles in the amateur ranks and has shown off a tremendous grappling game, finishing opponents with holds as diverse as chokes to ankle locks. Fredrickson has displayed an equally impressive MMA game, where he too has held several titles. But Fredrickson prefers to let his striking finish fights as he brings a high level kickboxing game into the cage. This might be an old school fight of grappler versus striker.
