COGA Grand Prix "Battle @ The Bay 1"- July 21st, 2012

COGA Grand Prix and the Swinomish Casino and Lodge presented Battle @ The Bay last night inside the beautiful brand new Wa Walton Event Center with 7 amateur and 4 pro bouts. In the main event, Lupe Hudges out of NW Elite secured a guillotine choke of Omar Avelar at 1:55 into the third round for the win. The co-main event saw Ivan Salaverry MMA's Jacob Boysen blast C3's Rob Dyer with a knee to the solar, setting up a TKO finish with a flurry of punches in the first round. Ludus FC's Drew Brokenshire remains undefeated as a pro grinding out a 3 round unanimous decision over a dangerous Ryan Mulvilhil out of Spokane's Sikjitsu & SOBMMA. And in the night's first pro bout, Andy Paves of Ivan Salaverry MMA got the Unanimous Decisin win over AKA's Ken Alexander in a spirited battle.
