On Saturday, July 11th, 2015, Combat Games MMA, the Northwest’s premier mixed martial arts promotion comes to the Swinomish Casino and Lodge in Anacortes, Washington for an action packed evening of mixed martial arts. The event will be held in the Wa Walton Event Center.

In the main event, a light heavyweight bout, Arlington Kickboxing Academy’s Thomas “Tiny” Hoeper from Arlington, Washington faces off against Derek Luna representing Art of War from Eugene, Oregon.

When asked to comment on this main event, COGA’s Joe DeRobbio had this to say, “I’m super excited for this main event between Thomas Hoeper and Derek Luna. Both are very talented young men ready to make their mark as title contenders in the Pacific NW light heavyweight rankings. Luna is coming off a tough loss via quick submission against Cory Hendricks at Battle at the Bay XI. He’s very hungry to show this was a fluke and that he’s a force to be met with in this division.”

In the co-main event, the heavyweights take to the cage. Mount Vernon’s own Miles Coble goes to war with William Miller of Sacred Scars MMA.

After two dominating amateur bouts under the COGA banner, James Davis returns to the Pacific NW for his professional debut against Jay McKay Rodriguez. This is sure to be an absolute barn burner you won’t want to miss.

Rounding out the professional portion of the card is Orcas Island Fight Camp’s, Colt Hausauer, taking on the dangerous Jesse Nutting, representing Livewire MMA. Jesse is coming off a late round 2 submission win over his last opponent after coming back from losing round 1.

In the amateur division, we see our female athletes go to battle when Gabby Atnip climbs into the cage with Brittany Simms. Brittany last took on Shawndee Solosobal under the COGA banner in a 3 round war. Both ladies are very talented and leave it all in the cage. You don’t want to miss it.

Other featured bouts include Hiroyoki Tetsuka vs. Isiah Tinsley, Kristen Maraanen vs. Crem Fraizer, and Sebastian Kirkland vs. Matt Ruiz.
