Budo Fights 10: Resurrection - April 12th, 2013

After a year and a half hiatus, Budo Fights was back at the Midtown in Downtown Bend OR on April 12th, holding their 10th event dubbed "Resurrection". A total of 14 amateur fights took place, including 3 title bouts. In the main event for the Budo Fights ammy 185 lb Title, Desert Dogs fighter Colton Howard stopped Andrew Lipp of Denver CO in the 4th round via TKO to strikes. Smith Martial Arts' Mike Gonzalez won the ammy 170 lb Title with a 1st round arm triangle sub of Josh Spencer. Gonzalez' teammate Sean Soliz dominated Allen Washington over 5 rounds to win the 145 lb belt via unan decision. More info on Budo Fights at budofights.com.
