Alliance Fights "Counterstrike" -  August 22nd, 2009

The large crew of Alliance MMA put on their 2nd show last night at the ShoWare Center in Kent by holding 10 professional fights, with UFC Middleweight Champion and MMA Megastar, Anderson "Spider" Silva, taking in all the action cageside.

In the main event, the 5-0 Lorenzo Hood (all five wins by KO) came out with a flying knee against Mario Miranda. Miranda avoided the brunt of it, and immediately worked for the take down which he got quickly. Hood nearly was able to get back to his feet but Miranda wrapped him up against the cage and found an arm to slap a kimura on ending it at just over two minutes into the first round.
