MMA held their 6th First Friday Fights event at the Milwaukie Elks Lodge
on Feb 5th with 12 amateur cage fights that included 1 title fight and 1
superfight. The grappling challenge featured Pro MMA Fighter JT Taylor
who dazzled by submitting all four of his challengers.
 
The
main event was a Heavyweight Superfight and turned out to be an exciting
match for the fans as Damion Martindale edged out Kile Beck in a
Unanimous Decision victory with all the judges calling it 29-28.
Martindale will likely be fighting for the promotions heavyweight title
at an event upcoming.
 
In
the co-main event, Ben Egli retained his Lightweight Title by submitting
Brandon Alderman via armbar in the first round. Egli was immediately
challenged by Zach Hector and Egli accepted so be on the lookout for
these two meeting up soon.  
The next two First Friday Fights are scheduled for March 5th and April
2nd.
